Stained Glass Panel

This large stained glass panel was purchased at the Portland Flower Show more than 10 years ago. It was made by a glass artist in Hallowell, who was exhibiting at the show. Our generous donor purchased it for more than $1,000.

The window is believed to represent Saint Gertrude, who is popularly venerated as the patron saint of cats. She is also invoked by gardeners, which explains her appearance at the flower show.

This exceptional piece consists of different types of glass in a decorative leaded frame. The sweet figure of Gertrude tenderly holds a cat while others wait their turn.

This piece is beautiful when the light shines through it. Attached hinges and hardware can be used if needed for installation.

42" high x 32" wide.

Raffle tickets are $10 each. Multi-ticket discounts are 3 for $25, and 13 for $100. The drawing for the raffle will take place on July 4!
