Rose Medallion Bowl
This hand-painted Chinese porcelain bowl is beautifully detailed and in excellent condition. The Rose Medallion pattern, featuring floral motifs and genre scenes, was popular on the Chinese export market in the 19th and 20th century. This bowl dates from the late 1800s and has recently been appraised at $350-$500.

100-Year-Old Teddy Bear
This centenarian teddy has been well loved. He is still a great companion and would look wonderful in an old-fashioned bedroom.
Teddy is 24" tall and stands or sits nicely.
Black Cat Andirons
These striking felines have stood sentry over fires at a Paw friend's house for many years. They are heavy cast iron and in excellent condition!
15-Gallon Pickling Crock
This beautiful piece of stoneware is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Decorative or functional, the choice is yours.

The cleverly composed ensemble mixes colors and shapes.
Two green inkwells taper up from a round base. The aqua green one is marked "Carter's 93" on the bottom. The other is light green with no mark.
Three clear inkwells include a cube-shaped one marked "Carter's" and a round-based one marked "C65." The remaining round-based inkwell is unmarked.
All 5 inkwells are approximately 2.75" high x 2.5" wide.
This elegant evening bag is beautifully made! It has a short beaded handle, snap opening, and zippered silk liner. In excellent condition, the bag has a stunning design, colors, and beading. A fine lady would this purse to make an impression on a special night out!

This sturdy green thermos was a top-shelf item back in the day. It has a screw-off top and handle for easy carrying. Made in Belleville, Illinois, it will keep your liquids hot or cold on your next road or camping trip.

Travel Photo Case
In the early 1900s, before the advent of wallet photos and cell phones, travelers carried images of their loved ones with them in portable picture frames. The leather and velvet case of this example folds and fastens. It has a built-in stand for easy display when open. This high quality object is in excellent condition.

Cork Duck Decoy
This pretty duck decoy has a hand-painted head, glass eyes, and a cork body. She is in nice condition and would make a perfect addition to a camp or country decor!

Mirror and Hairbrush Set
Dressing table sets were all the rage in the 1940s when women were advised to brush their hair 100 strokes every night to make it shine. This 24-carat gold-plated set with a floral design is in excellent condition.
Leather Camera Bag
This handsome, well-constructed camera bag is made of high-grade genuine leather with gold-tone buckles and snaps. The interior has a golden velvet lining. The upper tray, which snaps into place, holds accessories, while the zippered lower compartment keeps your camera and lenses safe. Both leather and lining are in excellent condition.

This lightweight glassware has soft pink cups and stems that flow into light green bases. The 4 goblets and 6 champagne/dessert glasses would be a perfect addition to an elegant dinner table setting. Just beautiful!

Japanese Tea Set
This tea set, decorated with an image of Mount Fuji, includes a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer, and 4 oval dessert plates with indentations for the matching cups.
There is a small chip at the base of one cup (see last photo).
Plate: 8.5" wide x 5" deep. Cup: 2" high x 3" wide. Creamer 4" high x 5" wide . Sugar bowl: 5.5" high x 6" wide. Teapot: 9" high x 8" wide.
This cheery red gumball dispenser was made by Carousel, the company that invented the popular machine in the 1950s. Its glass globe and coin slot are mounted on a decorative metal stand. A working classic, it comes with a padlock and a key.
This glazed hen casserole was made by Mancioli Porcellane for Tiffany & Co. A distinctive piece of servingware, it is as decorative as it is practical. A piece of the tail feather has been broken and glued. Magnify photos 3 and 4 for damage which is not very visible.

Child's Tea Set
This blue-and-white child's tea set includes a teapot, sugar, creamer, and 6 cups and saucers (4 not shown). All of the pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The set is perfect for a children's tea party or displaying in a china cabinet!
Train Music Box
This copper music box plays "I've Been Working on the Railroad" as the train travels around the track. A collector of music boxes or railroad memorabilia would be delighted to own this piece.

Made by Replogle, the industry leader in quality globes of all sizes, this globe lights up and spins on a carved mahogany stand with metal claw feet. The exact age of the globe is unknown, but it predates 1991.

This silver-plated shaving stand has a swivel mirror and a cup to hold a brush or razor. According to the trademark stamp on the bottom, it was made by F.B. Rogers Silver Co. in 1883. This antique is perfect for a gentleman who shaves the old-fashioned way. It would also make an interesting display piece.
Cats and Kitts
This 1908 edition of Cats and Kitts was written by Frances Trego Montgomery and illustrated by Hugo von Hofsten. Charming color and black-and-white illustrations follow the love story of felines Coalie and Snowball. This book comes with its original dust jacket and is in very good condition.
Cat in Hatbox
Cat in Hatbox was created in 1909 by Dutch artist Solomon Meijer, who specialized in paintings of cats. It shows his understanding of the feline fancy for boxes! This reproductive print comes in an attractive antiqued frame.

This circa 1870 print shows a tabby cat temporarily distracted from his saucer of milk. It is framed in mahogany with a gold liner.

This handmade wooden bookmark dates to the 1930s. The painter appears to have transformed the silhouette of a girl into a tuxedo cat.

Scene from Shakespeare's Othello
This chromolithograph based on an etching by 19th-century British artist Robert Dudley shows a pivotal scene from Act 3 of Shakespeare's Othello. At left, Cassio takes his leave of Desdemona. At right, Iago uses this innocent meeting to make Othello believe that his lieutenant and his wife are lovers.
Published in 1882. Nicely framed with UV glass.

Skating at Versailles under Louis XV
Early 20th-century French painter Lionel Péraux specialized in images of the 18th century. This colored engraving shows ice skaters at Versailles during the reign of Louis XV. A father pushes his daughter on a sled, a gentleman assists a woman who has fallen, and three friends skate hand in hand. This print is nicely framed with a double mat.

Biscuit and Tobacco Tins
The British biscuit (cookie) tin was made by W & R Jacob & Co. in Liverpool, England. The royal warrant of appointment on the bottom refers to "His Majesty," which means it predates Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1952. 8" wide x 4" deep with a hinged top.
The tins for Velvet, Prince Albert, and Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco have hinged tops and are in very good condition. 4.5" high x 3" wide.
Art Glass Birds
This colorful group of exotic and barnyard birds is guaranteed to delight. The birds range in height from 1" to 2".

Kitten Bracelet and Tie Tack
This bracelet and tie tack are vintage Paw in the Door jewelry! Thirty-five years ago, we bought them wholesale from The Clipper Trade, a much loved gift shop in Bath, and sold them to raise funds for our cats.
