Why We Race
This past year has been difficult for our families and yet they have taken the "outside the box" virtual journey with us... transforming living rooms to dance parties, basements to gyms and kitchens to craft centers. Why? So that their children have socialization and engagement during the most isolating times.
In 2020, ACF provided more than 100 virtual, live activities for our event calendar touching the lives of thousands. The Adult Services Division went from an abrupt shutdown to a virtual day program, to a re-opening, to another closing - all while seamlessly providing a virtual program mirroring that of our in-person day program. We continue to explore safe, socially distant events such as our drive through Holiday Event at Sesame Place and the Drive In Movie at Snipes.
#2021cantstopACF as we keep zooming along with Catch a Craft with Irina, ACF Sings with Natalie, No Bull Training, Exercise with Amanda, STEM activities, our legendary Dance Parties with Morgan, Sammy and DJ Matt (live from Penn State), and more.
This ACF Zoom community looks forward to "seeing" each other and finding their friends in the little boxes. At the end of the programs, we leave Zoom open for chat time with friends. These are the faces of ACF.
