Enjoy a day on the water with Ascent! The Stand Up Paddle Board SUP half day adventure will be a day to remember. The trip can include instruction for beginners and relaxing lake rides or more advanced river sections down the James for more experienced riders. All trips include all the necessary equipment - (Helmet, Board/Paddle, PFD). Ascent is ready to adventure together!
Details: SUP Trip would be for adults or students in 4th grade or up. Trips will typically be on a weekend. Up to 6 participants.

MTBK Group Trip - Hit the trail with your friends and ride together! Ascent MTBK is a foundation activity for outdoor adventures. Fun Fact: there are Ascent riders that are actually professionally sponsored, but don't be intimidated. The SEES MTBK trip is for all skill levels and abilities. This half day trip can be local to Pocohontas or adventure north to the James River Park system. One thing is for sure - the full experience of the bus ride, mountain biking and sending some jumps will be one to remember.
Details: This half day MTBK trip is for adults or students in 4th grade and up. Up to 6 participants. Trips will typically be on a weekend, but MTBK trips can be more flexible around after school.

River Surfing w Ascent - This half day of surfing is not for the beginner, rather the experienced Stand Up Paddleboarder looking for a new adventure on the James River. Equipment includes a helmet, PFD and SUP surf designed board. This half day adventure will include a guided trip through the upper James pointing out all the good surf spots and hopefully catching your first wave. Depending on the experience and risk level, participants can choose a full flood stage 13'+ or a simple 7' day.
Details: The SUP Surf would be for adults or experienced 8th and up students. Trips will typically be on a weekend. Up to 3 participants.
