This original oil painting by prominent Latino artist Daniel DeSiga, was commissioned in 2012 for the National Center for Farmworker Health. DeSiga said his painting, called "La Cosecha Colorado," captured the dignity and pride of the American farmworker. His strong, colorful images reflect both his Mexican and Native American heritage and his artistic talent.

Daniel DeSiga's artwork has been exhibited in a number of venues like the Denver Art Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Wight Art Gallery at the University of California in Los Angeles. Two of his paintings are in the Smithsonian Museum's permanent collection. DeSiga passed away in 2020.
