How will the 2021 auction work? This year, the auction will be held entirely online. There will be no live bidding items. When you register, you will receive a link that allows you to bid on items in the silent auction. Bidding will open on April 5, 2021 at 8 am EST, and all bidding will close on April 17, 2021 at 9 pm EST.
I want to Bid, Donate and/or sponsor, what do I do? You will need to register with the site in order to bid on auction items, donate to Fund-A-Need or sponsor this event. Please be sure to provide a reliable email address for all receipts and certificate communication. Due to the auction being held entirely online, you will need to have a credit card on file with your account in order to bid, win, and purchase auction items.
What will happen on the final day of the auction? The auction will close on April 17, 2021 at 9 pm with several times to log in for special messages. Tune in at 6 pm for a welcome message and then again at 8:30 pm for a short message straight from our teachers about how your Fund-A-Need support helps TBS.
How will I know if I won an item I bid on? GiveSmart will text you a message confirming your winning bid when the auction closes at 9 pm EST on April 17, 2021.
How will I know if I am outbid on an item? GiveSmart will text you a message when a new bid has exceeded your current bid.
I won. Now what? At the close of the auction on April 17th your winning bids will convert to purchase(s) and your account will be ready to check out. The card on file will be charged for your purchase(s).
