This Skin-on Greenland Sea Kayak is a replica of the West Greenland kayak collected in about 1834 that currently sits in the Danish National Museum.

The kayak weighs approximately 35 pound is about 18 feet long. If it sells and goes to someone who is actually going to paddle it, I'll work with them to outfit it so it fits for paddling. The kayak is covered in nylon and sealed with artist-pigment-tinted polyurethane. and the deck toggles are deer antler.

If using this kayak for paddling purposes, Tony Schmitz will work with the winner to fully outfit the kayak for top-notch paddling capabilities.
