Hosta Flowers in Blue
$21516" x 20" - Photography on Canvas - Framed (black)
Artist - Paul Giglia
Inspired by - My World by Zallie from Buhrer Dual Language Academy
Suggested Value: $75.00
"I enjoy floral photography and usually use a variety of processes to enhance the images. The poem I chose, My World, speaks of colors and flowers that made me think about ways to take a floral photo, isolate the flowers, and add texture to convey tranquility. I hope I achieved all this in my piece."
Paul Giglia is an amateur, but devoted, photographer who enjoys producing images of nature, landscapes, and also of Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs. While he practices this avocation for his own enjoyment, he also sells his work to stock photo houses as well as on various products. The fact that he can use his camera to help a worthy cause such as America SCORES Cleveland, gives him the most joy, though.

Bridges at Settler's Landing
$250Bridges at Settler's Landing, The Flats
21.5" x 17.5" - Photography- Framed (Black)
Artist - Paul Giglia
Inspired by - Our City, Our Home by the Marion C. Seltzer Boys Team
Suggested Value: $75.00
"This wonderful description of Cleveland is so exuberant that I felt it needed a photo of a part of Cleveland where exuberance is always present: The Flats. The poem also tells of so many of the city's attractions. But because I couldn't fit them all in one photo I chose a spot where bridges spanned the Cuyahoga, representing how they connect different attractions, East and West. We're all proud of our city and representing it in a photo that shows it at its best seemed appropriate."
