Hand Blown Purple Striped Flat Glass Vase by Studio Jeffrey P'an
If you like purple, this is the vase for you. It's a gorgeous ever-changing display of color and patterns.
The vase is made with a of multi colored strips of glass that are fused and attached to the blowpipe from above. The bands are then allowed to drip down creating the loop pattern. The pattern is further interpreted during the glassblowing process to create gradients of color that intensify when they interact with the colors on the other side.
Jeffrey P'an has been working with glass for 30 years. His approach to glassblowing is one of a kind, from concept to finished product. Meticulous and highly creative, Jeffrey has the ability to create stunning works of art at his Mystic studio. By combining traditional glassblowing techniques with modern technology, Jeffrey is able to bring his vision in glass to light.
The studio is open to the public and visitors are welcome to view the glass making and browse the showroom where examples of the work are on display.
