MAY WINES

2019 Vignerons Du Pallet Muscadet
100% Melon de Bourgogne is the grape Varietal, Sur Lie refers to the wine resting on its lees or dead yeast cells for a while. This process add creaminess and flavor to the wine which soften the high acidity. The result is gentile citrus and pear nuances, a hint of salinity and minerality tied into Brioche.

2019 Broadbent Gruner Veltiner
100% Gruner Veltliner Juicy white with plenty of lime, peach and green apple flavors. Creamy freshness that is easy but bright fruit driven. Beautiful length with mineral tones. Ideal for seafood, light dishes, as a refreshing summer white or just enjoy by itself.

2018 Folk Tree Village Series Cabernet
Owned by Norton Ridge in collaboration with T. Edwards distributors based after Vin de France (subtle and approachable). Hints of black fruits, cherry and clove with restrained notes of vanilla. Sustainable farmed the wine spent eight months in neutral French oak barrels (subtleness).

JUNE WINES

2020 Mont Gravet Cotes de Gascogne
This 100% Colombard is dry yet fruity with a limon citrus nose that is more pronounced on the palate. Medium weight that is refreshing with a great price. A lower alcohol wine that has the characteristics of a Sauvignon Blanc. Southwest France.

2019 Beyra White Blend
Sira and Fonte Cal. Why not. The Fonte Cal variety produces big well structured wines that are floral, honeyed and fruity. The Siria is aromatic citrus and floral with hints of Melon. Together equals a mineral and citrus fruitiness that is light and palate cleansing.

2017 Plavac Mali
They claim it is the original Zinfandel and it just may be. The area has been producing wines for 2000 years. Its is a very complex wine with hints of plum, ripe and dried. Herbs and spice throughout add complexity but unlike most domestic Zinfandels, this has a rich elegance to it that intrigues. The vineyards are large stones similar to the galets in the Rhone but these rocks are white (lime rocks). Minerality explained.
