Enjoy a dinner for eight at the Tacha's Lakeview Club lakeside retreat. You get to enjoy a brief history of the Club, tour of the property and a dinner complete with cocktails, wine and and an old-fashioned Lakeview menu. The dinners will be served at their cabin. The Lakeview Fishing and Shooting Association dates back to the late 1800's. It sits on an oxbow lake left when the Kansas River changed course. It originated as a trading post and became a private club since the 1890's. The historic clubhouse anchors the property surround by cabins owned by club members.

Deanell and John Tacha have been members of Lakeview for about 40 years and have enjoyed years of swimming, fishing, canoeing, neighborly gatherings, and just plain peace and quiet of a lakeside retreat.

There are wine tastings and then there are wine tastings with sommelier, Michael Kirkendoll. You and your wine loving friends will enjoy an educational experience at a location of your choice, including their Academy tasting room.

We offer weekly educational wine classes for the public, as well as trainings for members of the service industry, and also feature a unique and highly-curated wine list of over 100 selections, with every wine on the menu available by the glass.

Enjoy 2 bottles each of Oldde Squide, Matrot (2015) aged 32 months in a toasted oak barrel, Mandolin, a sweet and off dry wine, Charlotte's Red, sweet Fredonia grape wine, Bluesman (2015) aged 31 months in a charred oak barrel, Jazzman (2012) aged 38 months for great depth, 2 bottles of Charlemagne an off dry Chambourcin red, and 2 bottles of Traminette, an off dry white. Be surprised at how great local wine can be!

Join us for a tasting this year at HOLYFIELD Vineyard & Winery with 20 of your friends! The vineyard is planted with Native American and French Hybrid varieties, with an emphasis placed on growing superior grapes. The carefully tended grapes are harvested by hand and then immediately pressed. Our wines are fermented, aged and bottled in the cellars located beneath our tasting room.
