This rare and vibrant vintage poster from an exhibition in 1970 in Charlottenburg, Denmark features a female circus rider on a red horse. Measuring 23 by 16 inches, this unframed lithographic print by Marc Chagall will add a splash of color wherever it is hung. It was purchased in a bookstore in Paris with the tag still attached to the back. There is the appearance of a small water spot on the bottom right, otherwise, the piece is in very good shape. Honored for his distinct style and pioneering role among Jewish artists, Marc Chagall painted dream-like subjects rooted in personal history and Eastern European folklore. An early modernist, he created works in a wide range of artistic formats, including painting, drawings, book illustrations, stained glass, and fine art prints. Born in Liozna, Belarus in 1887, he died in France in 1987. Item must be picked up at CET or ThinkTV. Shipping is not available.

Donor value is $600.
