Dress up your formal dining room with this impressive silver on copper vintage Sheridan tea set. The set collectively weighs more than 20 pounds, and due to its age, some of the pieces have small scratches.
The set sits on a double handled, footed ornate tray measuring 29 inches by 18 inches including the handles. A trim of ribbon with shells interspersed surrounds the edge of the tray.
The set includes two pots: a 10 inch coffee pot and a 9 inch tea pot. The lids are attached and the pots sit on claw feet while the handles and spouts are carved in midcentury English style.
To complete the set: a 6 inch lidded sugar bowl with tongs; a 5 inch open creamer pitcher with decorative handles and a 5 inch waste bowl which also sits on claw feet. Hallmark markings are visible on the bottoms of several of the pieces.
Donor value $600.
