Created exclusively for the Action Auction from 2002 through 2005, the Songbirds of Ohio II Series illustrates the uncanny ability of John A. Ruthven to capture wildlife and their habitats in a truly lifelike manner. Each plate depicts a unique bird in a different season.

Plate I is Cedar Waxwings gathering food in winter. Plate II is Carolina Wrens lining their nest in the Spring. Autumn is the focus of Plate III, with Orchard Orioles sitting near sunflowers in bloom, and a Blackburnian Warbler is perched in summer near a large magnolia blossom in Plate IV.

A more detailed description of each print follows this group. Each print is double signed, and although not guaranteed a particular number, your set will have the same number on each print. The 13 1/2 by 17-inch to 14 by 19-inch unframed prints must be picked up at CET or ThinkTV; shipping is not available.

Donor value is $1200.
