Yes, the last year has been difficult for everyone! COVID has impacted everyone in more ways than one. It is important to remember that even though COVID-19 is at the forefront of everyone's mind; other illnesses and medical conditions have not ceased to exist.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities still maintains their great work to support families and patients in need, even during COVID-19 by providing housing, food, and outstanding care. The added stressors of COVID are multiplied for these families, when combatting multiple illnesses at once. To help assist the RMHC and all the great work they do, I am calling on all Yinzers to support the Ruck 41.2 event.
In efforts to raise money for those in need, we will be Rucking (walking with a weighted backpack) a total distance of 41.2 miles in one day on April 10th. All donations will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House to support and maintain the great work they continue to provide to families!
The goal is to raise $4,120 by rucking 41.2 miles in one day.
