How can I attend the Capital Conservation Awards Dinner in Washington, DC in person?

Tickets can be purchased for the in-person event on October 6 here. In order to ensure the safety of all guests, we will be implementing the following protocols:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required to enter. A paper copy on your phone will be accepted. We will not retain any copies.
  • All guests must wear face masks upon arrival and check-in. You may remove your mask when eating and drinking. If you forget your mask, we will have masks available.
  • All guests will have their temperature taken upon arrival. Guests with a temperature above 99.9 degrees will not be permitted to enter.
  • There will be hand sanitizer stations placed around the auditorium.
  • We will attempt to spread out dinner and auction tables as best we can.


What is the dress code for the in-person event?

Dress is business or "festive" attire. Men are typically in suits; women are typically in suits or a knee-length dress.


I can't attend in person. How do I sign up to view the live broadcast?

Click here to register to watch the Capital Conservation Awards Dinner livestream from the comfort of your own home. You will receive a confirmation email with a calendar invitation and link to join. 


How do I participate in the online auction? 

You must be registered to participate. Registration is easy, just click Sign In or Register in the top left hand corner of the page. From there, click "Register" and just follow the prompted directions. 


When does the auction go live?

The online silent auction is now live! Bidding will close at 8:30pm ET on October 6, 2021.


How do I pay for my item once I win?

We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy check out. At the end of the night, you'll be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check to avoid credit card processing fees, please reach out to Mandy Zalmanek for information on how to send in your payment.


How do I retrieve or arrange my auction item/experience?

TRCP staff will contact you following the auction with all the pertinent information you need to know for next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox! Shipping charges may apply.


How can I share the auction with my friends?

Direct friends and family to www.trcp.org/ccad2021 so they can register and bid online. 


Is there a sweepstakes?

Yes! There will be some great items up for grabs in our sweepstakes, including a grand prize of a Michigan turkey hunt with MeatEater's Steve Rinella and Janis Putelis in April 2022. The entry period for the sweepstakes will begin on August 18 and end on September 29, and is open to all U.S. residents over the age of 18. Click here to enter!


Is there still a live auction?

There will not be a live auction this year.


What if the COVID pandemic worsens between now and October? Will you still hold your event?

TRCP will keep close watch on health guidelines and will respond accordingly. At this time, we are planning to hold our event in person as well as livestreamed for those who wish to still watch and participate from home. If our plans change, we will update all guests posthaste.
