At the National MS Society, our top priority is - and always will be - the health and well-being of all those affected by MS. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are fully committed to doing our best to safeguard those living with MS, as well as the entire MS community.
Today, we are letting you know that the National MS Society and the Right Notes Committee have decided not to hold The Right Notes on September 23rd.
We know many of you have committed to supporting this year's event and we cannot thank you enough. Thanks to the ongoing and generous support of donors like you, the work of The Right Notes will not stop. Our mission to serve people with MS remains our number one priority, especially in a time of uncertainty like the one we're living in now. Though our September 2021 event will no longer take place in the way that we intended, we continue to strive toward our goal of raising money for those affected by MS.
We know you have questions, and we're doing our best to answer them as we navigate this ever-changing situation. After taking a year hiatus for the health and safety of our constituents during the pandemic, The National MS Society, Passion Vines and Greate Bay Country Club are looking forward to celebrating The Right Notes presented by The Donovan Financial Group of UBS Financial this year on Thursday, September 23, 2021! The event you have come to love will back and better than ever!
In 2019, we had our biggest year to date with more than 400 attendees and raising more than $114,000 for South Jersey's Fight Against MS! It was unforgettable evening of wine, craft beers, spirits, artisanal food, live music, and amazing auctions. We would not be able to make the impact we do in South Jersey without supporters like you!
Inspired by the many personal connections the committee has to multiple sclerosis, The Right Notes' mission is to help find a cure to MS. We are dedicated to making an impact right here in our local community of South Jersey, providing those families and individuals with the resources, information, and connections they need. In the past 7 years, The Right Notes Wine Tasting has raised an astounding $500,000 to support the National MS Society. The funds raised by The Right Notes will assist local people living with MS right now by helping to support the Society's MS Navigator program and increase the quality of care available to patients through its Physician Fellowship program.
Thank you for your generous support. We are excited to celebrate with you safely at the The Right Notes on September 23, 2021 at Greate Bay Country Club. We've planned every detail of this event with the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, and staff as our highest priority. Safety protocols are in place that follow current guidance from the CDC, as well as state, city and other local agencies. This includes mandatory face coverings, regardless of vaccination status, reduced touchpoints to minimize physical interactions, and adhering to capacity limits of the venue.
