Geraldine Barclay-King, entrepreneur, community leader and "Head Bluffa-Jo", came up with the idea for Geri's Bluffing Boutique during the pandemic as a way to uplift the community. The word "Bluffing" denotes the desire to not only "look good" but to "feel good". It is used by Liberians (West African) to denote the use of fashion to project confidence and positivity, even when one might not be feeling their best. Geri's Bluffing Boutique's mission is to to transform lives through fashion, art, and cultural education.
