The past couple of years have been difficult on everyone. This is particularly true of those living with cancer. The isolation and increased fear about their health as the result of the pandemic has been an unfortunate reality for many.
At Camp, we persevered and figured out how to create desperately needed connection and community despite the inability to safely gather in person. We have had nearly 650 participants enjoy friendship, learning and fun in 3-4 day online sessions.
Looking to 2022, we are more optimistic and energized than ever. We simply cannot wait to have everyone cross the Bridge of Dreams onto our campus in Gold Creek.
But, we need your support to make this dream a reality!
What's more, we have the opportunity to have our beloved horses stay with us year round thanks to the generosity of the Demings who have faithfully brought them to Camp each summer. To do so, we need shelter and storage... we need a BARN! Even better, we are going to create some space in and around the barn for campers to get out of the elements when they are up enjoying the horses, climbing wall and high ropes as well as an all-abilities bathroom so the less-than-ideal porta-potties can be a thing of the past!
But, again, we need your support to make this dream a reality!
