3-4 hour tour for 3 of Camp Pendleton. The base encompasses 17 miles of coastline, 200 square miles and 125 acres. One of the Marine Corps? elite training bases.
Camp Pendleton is home to the First Marine Expeditionary Force with subordinate units which include the historic 1st Marine Division, and supporting logistics and aviation units.
The windshield tour is led by a career Marine officer whose first assignment to Camp Pendleton was in 1957. Followed by several subsequent tours of duty on the base.
The tour will include a drive-by of base facilities, such as: on-base housing, the hospital. the commissary, Post Exchange, base museum, recreation facilities, elementary schools. Also included are numerous training ranges and unit camps.

Jambo! The Matrida Umoga Band is now based in San Diego, California. The members, originally from DRC Congo, started playing music together in refugee camps in Tanzania. This group of amazing, accomplished musicians, led by singer Matrida David, has begun performing around Southern California, and is available for community and private events.
