Handmade Quilt

Beautiful, handmade quilt, made especially for our gala every year by a quilting group in Nyack, New York. The quilting group makes quilts all year round for Journey Home and gifts them to those who are moving from homelessness to housing. They have been giving us and ultimately our clients this incredible gift for many years and we are so grateful for the love that they send through their quilts. The "gala quilt" that they create each year is always one of our most popular auction items!

This happy quilt (54" x 72") resulted from the collaboration of sewists from The Quilt Tree. Many hands contributed to the many tasks, from choosing the fabrics, cutting and assembling the pieces, quilting and binding, to create this warm, cozy bundle of joy. They wanted us to share with all of you: "We are happy to have this quilt be a part of the wonderful collaboration that is Journey Home and wish that it brings joy into its new home."
