English artist Sir William Nicholson (1872-1949) was known for his unique style of woodcut prints. In the 1890's Nicholson cut a series of wood blocks of An Illustrated Alphabet. This unframed antique print "The Jockey" represents the letter J; autographed first edition (1898 series). Unmatted print measures 14" x 17".
