Nathaniel Price is an artist and chef who works at the intersections of food, community, and art. Price has been honing his craft in Portland's celebrated restaurants, private events, community gatherings, and of course his own kitchen, for over two decades. His speciality is New American cuisine inspired by both foraged and cultivated ingredients of the PNW. Price manages sales for Revel Meat Co. where he works to change our food system by connecting customers to ranchers raising animals in the PNW that are committed to sustainable and humane practices.

Curated specifically for this group, PICA's Visual Art Curator Kristan Kennedy will create a series of behind the scenes tours of artists' studios, galleries, and institutions throughout the span of one day. Participants will also join Kristan and PICA Executive Director Victoria Frey for an al fresco lunch, conversation, and other treats at PICA!

Give and Give Back! Join artist Roshani Thakore in a collaborative cake bake project. Participants will engage with PICA's Visual Art Curator Kristan Kennedy and Roshani for a virtual cooking session and conversation about the artist's socially engaged art practice. The project's end goal is to produce enough special cakes to welcome the students of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School and King School Museum of Contemporary Art (KSMoCA) back to class!
