Lynn Ruffins Cave has been designing beaded loom work, hand woven beaded ethnic bags, and body adornments for forty plus years. Most recently she was one of six artists to exhibit in East Hampton's Ashawagh Hall on Long Island. In July 2018, she exhibited two paintings and one felted/beaded piece at the Eastville Heritage House in Sag Harbor, along with her father, painter, and illustrator Reynold Ruffins. Her earrings have been sold in the gift shop of the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian in NYC. For ten years, she worked with the Children's Art Carnival and Community Works nurturing the talents of inner-city school children.
Today, In collaboration with her local Brower Park Library Friends Group and Local Brower Park Friends Group she provides art workshops for young children and teens with the support of the Society Inc, as a Renaissance Chapter
