Artwork captures the key play which clenched the game and the National Championship as the Vol's took destiny in their own hands with a 23-16 victory over Florida State University. Mr. Hess's painting preserves this special moment in time capturing the spirit and emotions of the Tennessee sideline as the celebration erupts when Peerless Price snags a perfectly thrown pass and leaves the FSU cornerback behind on his way to the 79 yard touchdown pass, longest in Fiesta Bowl history. The artist has also included hidden images and symbolism adding to the intrigue of the print.
