Join the North Texas Food Bank for our 22nd Annual Empty Bowls, presented by Kroger, on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

During these uncertain times, NTFB wanted to continue the tradition of one of our favorite events, designed in a way to keep all of our guests safe. That is why NTFB decided to transition Empty Bowls this year to a drive-thru model!

As a ticket purchaser, you will come to the North Texas Food Bank's Perot Family Campus on February 25, 2021, between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM to pick up your Bowl Box. Each box will contain a handmade artisan bowl, a 5 oz. package of Carmie's Kitchen gourmet soup mix, Ciabatta Squares from Empire Baking, recipe cards from some of our favorite past Empty Bowl participants and NTFB Staff, NTFB's Tough Choices Game, and more!

Once you're home, feel free to fix your soup that night or save it. We encourage you to gather around the table with your family and play NTFB's Tough Choices where you step into the life of a single parent of two young children and are forced to make some difficult decisions!

Other information to know:

  • Again this year, we will have a Wine Pull - 3 wines for $50! The wine pull is now open and will be available for pick up with your Bowl Box. All wines are valued between $20 - $50.
  • We will have a small virtual auction featuring some handmade artisan bowls from some of our favorite artists like - June Whitacre, Brian & Gayle Dean, Louie Rosenfield and more!

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit hunger-relief organization operating a state-of-the-art volunteer and distribution center in Plano, the Perot Family Campus. Last year, the Food Bank worked hard in partnership with member agencies from our Feeding Network to provide access to 96.9 million nutritious meals across a diverse 13-county service area, exceeding our goal by five years to provide access to 92 million annual meals by 2025. But the need for hunger relief is complex and in order to meet the continued need, the NTFB is always working to increase our food distribution efforts and bridge the hunger gap for children, seniors, and families in North Texas.

NTFB is a member of Feeding America, a national hunger-relief organization.
