Nightmare Before Christmas

This tree is as reminiscent of the movie as possible. The vibe is darker, but still festive. Additionally, for a color theme, we wanted to incorporate a purple look, but still have a lot of Christmas colors. For decorations, we wanted to have characters from the movie and white/purple ornaments.

Life's Better at the Beach

Covid has hit many of us hard. Many are struggling with isolation, changed routines, extra work and homeschooling our children. Escaping to "the beach" was the method of salvation for a group of coworkers at Haynie. Decorating this tree cheered us up as we discovered life really is better at the beach.

It's the Little Things that Matter Most

At Christmas, the presents are great but it is the little things that matter most. Time spent with family & friends creating memories, spreading good cheer with a smile, kindness and charity to others especially those in need.

To remind us it is the little things that matter most, everything on, under the tree, and the tree itself is miniature. To remind us that service and kindness are what matter most of all, the ornaments and many of the decorations were hand made. It is the little things that matter most!

The idea for this tree came from the needs of our favorite charity The Boys and Girls Club of America. Their mission is "to enable the young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." This is only possible with the help of people who can spend time and be mentors to these young people who need the little things like encouragement, memories, smiles, kindness, and the charity of those around them.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

One of the best parts of the holiday season is bringing home your family Christmas Tree. Our tree, called The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, celebrates this magical moment with snowmen, red sleighs, and red trucks-all hauling smaller Christmas trees home. To create a whimsical and woodsy feel our tree is decorated in red and white buffalo plaid accents, from the vests on the snowmen to the wooden ornaments and tree skirt.

Our family loves the movie Christmas Vacation and we watch it together almost every year. The movie starts with a family going to pick up their Christmas tree and strapping it to the top of their car. We've always found that funny. When we start to see trees strapped to cars we find it hilarious and charming and it is one of the ways we know that Christmas is coming.

Dimensions: 6.5 ft. tree with a final dimension (including the tree stand) of 7 ft. 8 in. and 4 ft. wide. There is a small sleigh and packages that all fit on the tree skirt.

All Wrapped Up

Most of the ornaments on this flocked, pre-lit tree are handmade and are in the form of garlands wrapped tastefully around the tree. Includes wool balls, paper chains and stars, multicolored bulb garland, ceramic glittery stars, pom-poms etc. The tree skirt is composed of bundles of brand new Christmas wrapping paper rolls, ready to use for Christmas. Other wrapping supplies include: scissors, tape, ribbon, gift tags included. A rug sits under the tree. Most of the lights are white, with some multi-colored.

Our crew of mom, sisters and grandkids has been lovingly creating a tree for charity every Christmas for more than 15 years. We pride ourselves on creating tree that is mostly hand done, but stylish enough to deck any fancy hall.
