Join us on Friday, December 18th for our annual WCBS-FM 101.1 Holiday Spectacular!

Scott Shannon in the Morning with Patty Steele continue their Holiday Tradition by hosting their year-end Holiday Spectacular in honor of Blythedale Children's Hospital. This event will be broadcast live on air (101.1FM) on Friday, December 18th from 6:00 am - 10:00 am!

For the last 29 years, Scott Shannon has broadcast his final radio show of the year live from Blythedale and has raised more than $4 million for the Hospital. This is always a fun and exciting event for our patients and their families, and gets everybody here at the Hospital in the holiday spirit! Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be the first year that our beloved event will be held on-air only. But don't worry, Scott and Patty and some very special guests will still bring the magic, musical performances, and love to all our patients, families, staff, and supporters!

All proceeds from this year's Holiday Spectacular will support Blythedale's Traumatic Brain Injury Program. Blythedale is a longtime leader in the treatment of children recovering from traumatic and acquired brain injury. Central to the program is the Hospital's Traumatic Brain Injury Unit, the only dedicated post-acute pediatric brain injury unit in New York State. The TBI Unit is equipped with rooms designed to provide the low-stimulation environment needed by patients recovering from brain injury, as well as dedicated space for occupational, physical and speech therapy.
