Have you ever wanted to learn to build a vegetable garden in your backyard, but just didn't know how to get started?

Master Organic Urban Farmer/Gardener and life-long Naperville resident Veronica Porter, owner of Ask Aunt V, Cooking and Home Garden classes in downtown Naperville and Alive Center Board Member Dawn Portner will help you get started and teach you the ins and outs of creating a sustainable, organic, heirloom vegetable garden.

This can be a great project for the whole family!

All items are sustainable, renewable, and organic: 4x4 wooden raised garden built by a local veteran, heirloom seedlings*, soil*, and compost*. This item also includes set-up, hands on guidance for planting, watering and garden care to sustainably build your gardening skills and have a successful, productive garden.

Redemption Instructions

The winner of the silent auction will be notified via GiveSmart when the auction closes and the item will be put into your cart. The credit card you input will be charged for the total amount in your cart at the close of the auction on Sunday, March 7. Any donation amounts can be closed out at the end of the event on Saturday.

We will email any certificates with a redemption code on Monday, March 8. It is your responsibility to arrange the fulfillment of the item with the provider including time and place.

Any gift cards or baskets should be picked up at the Alive Center, 500 W Fifth Avenue, Naperville, IL 60563, from March 10 thru March 19, Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. Any items not picked up by that time will be donated back to Alive unless other arrangements have been made by contacting Elisa Henley, [email protected] by March 19.

Certificate expires May 31, 2021.
