The nautilus shell is a symbol of beauty and is of proportional perfection. The ratios of this shell are related to sacred geometry. The shell grows in the Fibonacci sequence, or the phi ratio. This sequence of numbers help us understand how things grow or unfold in nature. The design or patter of growth can be found in embryos, animals, and the petals on a flower, leaves around a branch, pinecones, and pineapples. Even our DNA double helix is formed from numbers found in the Fibonacci series. Some believe this to be the ratio of love. Perhaps this geometric blueprint expresses an underlying truth about life and our existence that we should be aware of.
