A bespoke pet portrait will be lovingly created from your favorite photo. A great deal of time and attention will be spent ensuring not only that your portrait captures a physical likeness, but also your pet's character and personality.

The 16" x 20" fine art portrait will be created using archival quality soft pastels. Artwork will be painted on archival pastel board and presented with a double mat board; ready for you to frame.

The tapestry was handmade by women in the Guatemalan Highlands, and is titled "Rescuing Cats and Dogs". These gorgeous tapestries designed and hand embroidered by the ladies of a cooperative in the Highlands of Guatemala are unique in all of Guatemala and each can take weeks to stitch. The motto of their cooperative is "With strength and dedication we are weaving a better future." The proceeds from their sales benefit their families but also the community at large.

Each piece measures approximately 19" x 19" and is lined at the back, where the maker signs her name and the name of the piece (in Spanish) in embroidery. These are intended to be wall hangings - they can be hung as-is or framed.

Colorado beetle kill pine with light blue epoxy inlays and durable epoxy resin coating. This bench measures 50" wide x 10" deep x 18" tall and would be excellent for indoor or outdoor use. The naturally colored beetle kill pine planks have voids that are filled with pigmented epoxy; the entire bench is covered in a protective coat of high gloss epoxy and is weatherproof. Through-tenon construction and 2 1/4 thick slabs of solid wood make this bench very sturdy, while the natural figuring and filled voids add interest to the simple design. The bottoms of the legs are sealed to ensure longevity of the piece.

This unique piece was made by our shelter veterinarian, Dr. John Marsella! Not only does the man save animals, he makes beautiful art as well.
