Both of our daughters have always attended our amazing St. Paul School. I attended BRTC for my CDA and have earned countless hours doing trainings. There are a lot of great things that come with being a preschool teacher. Being in the classroom and having the hands-on experience is the best way to grow into a better teacher. I have been in a preschool environment the last 10 years and have been at St. Paul School for 6 of those years.
My name is Jamie Brown and I teach PreK for 3-year-olds at St. Paul School. I've taught at St. Paul School for 8 years. I love teaching at this school because we can pray! My name is Valerie Thielemier. My husband's name is Jeff Thielemier and we have three children: Karlie, Lilly, and Hunter. I graduated from Williams Baptist College in 2011, with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten at St. Paul Catholic School. I still enjoy Kindergarten as much as I did my first year of teaching! I love working at our school for several reasons. First, it is not a "normal" working environment. We are a big family here and if any of us ever needed ANYTHING, any of us would jump right in and help. I love that we can openly pray with our students. I also enjoy watching my Kindergartners grow and learn through the years. I love each one of my students, and it's a privilege to see them until they graduate from sixth grade!

Hi, my name is Sarah Dollins and I have lived in Pocahontas my entire life, aside from the five years I attended ASU in Jonesboro. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. I am married with three sweet children: Carson, Katelyn, and Myles. I have been teaching for 10 years, and have been at St. Paul for five of those years. I love our school because I feel like I spend my work days with my second family. I also love the fulfillment of providing guidance and care to all my students. My favorite part of teaching in a Catholic School is knowing I can incorporate God into all of my lessons. Attending mass and praying with my students always gives me a sense of peace and reassurance.
Mrs. Tiffany Baltz teaches 4th Grade and has been at St. Paul School for five years. She is married to Dr. Alex Baltz, and they have two children. She has previously taught in the public school system. Tiffany loves teaching at St. Paul School! "The smaller class sizes allow me to get to know my students better which enables me to give them the kinds of instruction that they most need. However, what I love best about teaching at St. Paul is that I have the ability to share my Catholic faith and the love that Jesus has for all of us with my students. I cannot imagine teaching anywhere else!"
Mrs. Christie Dust Yemma was blessed to attend St. Paul Catholic School for 12 years, graduating in 1988. I then attended Christian Brothers University, where she obtained a bachelors degree in Chemistry. After several years working as an Environmental Chemist, she folllowed her heart and became a teacher. She has been teaching for 21 years with 16 years at St. Paul's. "I consider it my life's goal to help children grow in wisdom and God's grace and teaching at St. Paul's fulfills that dream. Being here is one of God's greatest gifts in my life. Family is the other great gift!"
She and her husband Paul, are enormously proud of their daughters Katie Grace (who graduated from the University of Arkansas in May) and Laurel (who is currently in her senior year at the University of Arkansas).
