Artist: Ginny O'Brien and four pediatric patients receiving treatment at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Description of Buffalo: Our buffalo was painted in-clinic as a collaborative effort by four pediatric patients ages ranging 4 to 8 years. Each young artist selected their favorite colors and with Ginny used their individual expressive painting styles to cover various sections, with the team colors of the Buffalo Bills highlighting the overall look of our buffalo. The buffalo is approximately 18" long and 12" high and made of terra cotta.

Artist Bio: Ginny is a painter and mixed media artist exhibiting her art in solo and group exhibitions nationally and locally. Practicing as a registered nurse prior to her arts career, she has expertise developing and facilitating hospital and clinic-based arts in health programs. Ginny is Resident Artist for the Kathleen and Joseph Curatolo Pediatric Visual Arts Program, providing art activities for children and teens receiving treatment in the outpatient infusion clinic at Roswell Park.
