Does the pandemic have you stressed out? Have you ever wanted to try mindfulness techniques to manage everyday tension?

Dr. David Freeman, DC based psychologist and Choral Arts bass, is offering a 50-minute session of stress management. David Freeman is a psychologist with 30 years experience in private practice and at Community Connections, a community based behavioral health center in Washington DC where he is currently the Chief Clinical Officer.

Dr. Freeman's ideas about community based behavioral health can be heard on his Podcast, Essential Connections: Tips and Techniques for Case Managers, available on Spotify and Apple podcasts. Each episode is five minutes - they're designed to be accessible, fun and informative. New pods are being published regularly.

As a therapist in private practice, Dr. Freeman works with people of all ages to solve practical problems, cope with stress, and deepen emotional and relational experience. He has an eclectic approach, with deep roots in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and systems level approaches to care and transformation. Sub-specialties include therapy with adolescents, young adults and their families; substance abuse treatment; mindfulness; grief and loss; stress management; and trauma recovery. He is especially interested in the intersections of therapy, art, and culture.

Dr. Freeman loves singing with the Choral Arts Society of Washington, listening to his wife's musical compositions, spending time with his family, thinking and talking about art and politics, and losing himself in the natural world.
