Green Tara Project
The aim of this initiative to reach out to those who aren't able to come to a studio by bringing yoga to them. Our GREEN TARA PROJECT is an outreach arm of the studio providing services to under-served populations. This project will encompass teaching yoga, meditation, relaxation, stress management in the following areas: Yoga for Veterans, end of life yoga, nursing homes, prisons, assisted living communities and local Native tribes.
The Yoga Connection is able to offer limited, partial scholarships for workshops. Please keep in mind that our funds are limited, so requesting the minimum needed will enable more people to benefit from this fund. The maximum amount awarded is no more than 50% of the lowest workshop fee.
Teacher Training Scholarships
The mission of The Yoga Connection's teacher training programs is to make the teachings of yoga, health and well-being available to all who seek. The intention of the scholarship fund is to make our programs available to individuals seeking to deepen their yoga practice and to teach yoga regardless of their financial situation. All scholarships are partial, and based on the availability of funds. Submitting an application for scholarship does not guarantee that you will receive one, nor does it accept you into our training program. Scholarships are made possible by the generosity of Yoga Connection's patrons and donors.
