Hero Aoudad Hunt in Rockdale, Texas includes getting the opportunity to spend the weekend with two of our Hunt with Heart families and experience them harvest their first Aoudad. Two day/ one night hunt!

The Bella Rose Ranch is located in Rockdale, Texas. The Bella Rose consists of over 1,000 acres of land. This native land is populated by Rocky Mountain Elk, Whitetail Deer, Axis Deer, Fallow Deer, and Black Buck Antelope. The many varieties of sheep species include; Aoudad (also know as Barbary), Purebred Armenian Mouflon, Texas Dall, Corsican, and Black Hawaiian Sheep. And of course, a few wild pigs!

The details the hunt will be as follows:

The hunt will be for a single barren female Aoudad. These female Aoudad have accomplished great deals of reproduction on the ranch. As they have aged, they have become infertile and no longer contributing to the health and well-being of the herd. (The Hunt with Heart youth will be the one harvesting the animal.)

Guests will arrive on a Friday or Saturday of agreeable date. The hunter will hunt that afternoon and all of the next day if necessary.
Accommodations will consist of a 2-bedroom cabin with central air and heat, running water, and electricity. In addition, a fully stocked black bass pond at the guests' disposal.
Bella Rose will supply dinner for the night of arrival and a large breakfast following the morning hunt. Fruits, snacks, and drinks will be available throughout the duration of their stay. Please bring any specialty items you may need or want in addition to which that is provided.

Bella Rose will furnish a suppressed rifle that is adequate for the hunter.

Live Oak Archery requests that the guest provide a 30-day notice to make proper arrangements for their arrival.

The Hunting cabin has a maximum occupancy of 6 people. (Hunter, Caregiver, Hunt with Heart Guide, count towards the occupancy)
