This acrylic on canvas painting was created by Gavin Wilson '23.
"I created this piece using acrylic paint and my reference is from a picture I found online that I altered to created what I wanted to show in the painting. I used a lot of bright yellows and whites to create the sun's rays lighting up a lot of the image. I used mostly dark colors for the foliage to make the lighting in the painting look brighter than it really is."

Malvern's Ben Franzone created this water color, pencil and micron pen in his sketchbook. "For this piece, I was inspired by a doodle I was sketching in my notebook a few years ago, with a ruler. When I was looking for a piece to create earlier this year, I saw the sketch in one of my old books and decided to give it a try. I really like the pops of color contrasted with the black and white cross hatched circles. I truly enjoyed making this piece and all of the thought that went into it."
This ceramic piece was created by Shawn Zebrowski '24.
"This piece shows two opposites. Zeus rules the Mt. Olympus which I represented as a lightening bolt and I painted an image of Hades/Hell on the bolt."

This watercolor was created by Ben Franzone '22.
"Being this was one of my earliest watercolor paintings, I really love how it turned out. I tried to keep it very simple and polished, only using a few colors for the entire piece. My favorite part about this piece is how simple it is, with line weight from pencils and micron pens making everything stand out. I really enjoyed creating this painting and the sense of fulfillment seeing it all completed."
