ABOUT THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.
Our Vision: A world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
Our Mission: The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter is the primary source of information and support to the thousands of Connecticut residents dealing with the effects of Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. With staff and volunteers active in every region of Connecticut, we are able to offer 24/7 support, family training seminars, care consultations, support groups and educational programs for the public, healthcare professionals and caregivers. The chapter has influenced public policy changes and has provided support to Alzheimer's and dementia research in the hope of finding a cure.
