Peter Michael Ma Belle-Fille Chardonnay 2019: A bright, light straw color, Ma Belle-Fille bursts from the glass with vine blossom, pure liquid minerals, nectarines, white flowers, creamed hazelnut, pastry elements, and Reinette apple. On the palate, noticeable layer upon layer of stone, minerals, grilled bread, and jasmine are accentuated with an oily, full-bodied concentration. The finish is complex and expansive with a purity of lingering lemon curd, vanilla bean, yellow flowers, and nougat with hints of cinnamon and pain d'épices. A classic example of Ma Belle-Fille, perfectly balanced and structured to age gracefully.
