Win this unique limited edition chair featuring a Keith Haring design!
The Fiberglass Shell Chairs were originally designed in 1948 as an entry in The Museum of Modern Art's International Design Competition, and are easily one of the most important and recognizable designs of the twentieth century. Each fiberglass shell is created by hand, one-by-one, in Modernica's Los Angeles factory.
Bridging the gap between the art world and the street, Keith Haring rose to prominence in the early 1980s with his graffiti drawings made in the subways and on the sidewalks of New York City. Combining the appeal of cartoons with the raw energy of artists, Haring developed a distinct pop-graffiti aesthetic centered on fluid, bold outlines against a dense, rhythmic overspread of imagery.
