Kitty Tidwell Weston is an emerging artist. Upon an early retirement from federal service, she began taking workshops and painting classes with impressionist artist, Jennifer Stottle Taylor. She continues to broaden her skills as an artist through mentoring and workshops with master artists. She volunteers at the Plein Air South annual conventions held in Port St Joe, Florida. Her art has also been on display at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens Emerging Artists exhibition. The inspiration for her paintings comes from her love of botanicals, nature, and her travels.

Maddine Insalaco (MFA New York Academy of Art) divides her life between New York City and Tuscany where she has taught landscape painting since 1995. She is an established expert in the history of open air painting and its connection to modern art. She has published, lectured, curated, and exhibited on the subject in diverse forums such as the British Art Journal, The Artist, Plein Air, Sotheby's, the National Academy of Design, the Palm Springs Art Museum, the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, GA, and the Jerusalem Studio School among others.
