Enhance technology in the Distance Learning Center (DLC)

The DLC is used to take our students on virtual field trips to anywhere from the Australian Weather Service to the Smithsonian in Washington DC or the zoo in the Florida Keys. We have collaborated with authors in New York and high school students in Texas. All of these experiences are made possible with audio and video tracking equipment which must be periodically updated. The cost of the equipment, hardware, software and installation can cost in excess of $40,000.
