Dr. Michael C. Manolas
MD, Penn State Health
Dr. Michael Manolas is thrilled to have the opportunity to take the Prima stage and honored to be "brawling" with such distinguished company. He is well-known locally as a caring internal medicine physician, who loves helping others and interacting with patients. He practices primary care internal medicine with Penn State Health Lime Spring Internal Medicine and enjoys his loyal patient following. He also practices with his group as a hospitalist at Lancaster General, currently, and through the years has also cared for patients at Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital and Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Through his busy career in medicine, he looks to music, performance, and the arts as a source of relaxation, but also invigoration and further connection with others.
Music and performance have always been a great joy for him. As a Lancaster native, Mike has performed locally in the Hempfield schools, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, and The Fulton. With the University of Pennsylvania Glee Club, he performed all over campus, and had some exhilarating moments singing at Veterans Stadium for the Phillies play-offs, Lincoln Center in New York, Disney World and Universal Studios, and abroad in various sites in Prague and Bratislava, seeing how music and performance bridge gaps and make connections among people.
He is grateful to Prima for consistently showing Lancaster the astonishing talent and exciting performance that can come out of our community. Prima strives to reach out to our community, and in these difficult pandemic times, Prima has been innovative to find safe, clever ways to keep us connected through performance. Mike asks you to please give some support to an organization so dedicated to enriching our local culture. "Thanks to Prima for this opportunity and love to my wife and son who both said, 'You've gotta do this!'
