This is a painting of Longs Peak during the Colorado fires of 2020. The incredible devastating destruction provided beautiful sunsets and skylines, to the point where you had to stop and admire it. Mixed feelings and emotions would be a complete understatement. But there is still hope that these fires will clear out the beetle kill and bring in new growth.
