Thank you for helping us "Make Cancer Less Scary". 100% of the proceeds raised will support vital cancer research, patient care, and other priorities of the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.

My project shows a surreal representation of cancer progression in the body. The different cellular mutations that commonly occur during cancer progression (replication errors and metastasis) are shown via anthropomorphic representations (closed eyes and crawling hands). In collaboration with representing the cellular aspect of cancer progression, my project also depicts the life of a patient going through her life before and after her cancer diagnosis. This project aims to both make both the scientific aspect of cancer less intimidating, as well as make the personal and emotional aspect more relatable.
