Hello folks, I know folks close to me know how important it is to me to volunteer for Fayette Cares and help those in my community. Our largest annual event is upon us and with Covid-19 things are going to be a bit different, but that does not change the fact that people in my community are in need of help. Individuals being stuck at home with their abusers while struggling with a pandemic. People who have lost their jobs, homes, and security. They need our help now more than ever. Anything that you can do to help is and always will be appreciated.

On a personal note, there is typically only 2 or 3 instances a year where I get to spend anytime with my father. And A Night of Southern Elegance has been that for us for a few years. We enjoy "1 upping" each other with our suits, shirts, and socks! Unfortunately this year, I have not been able to see him, but once. With my parents being separated before I could even remember, I lost a lot of time with my dad, and sharing this event with him always means so much.

We're raising money to end homelessness, break the cycle of domestic violence, and create stability from crisis by supporting the life-changing work of Fayette Cares.

The Fayette Cares emergency shelter has supported children, women, and men in need, and the COVID-19 crisis has driven even more families through their doors. But after more than a decade of big and little feet running through rooms, chairs scooting at dinner tables, bath time spills and splashes, the shelter is worn out. We want to help with critical repairs and maintenance so families will have a safe and happy place to get stronger on their journey to stability.

Please make a tax-deductible donation to help us reach our fundraising goal and change lives!
