The Wild Anacostias are a Raucous Merry-Making Multi-Morphous Louisiana-style Party Band! Mardi Gras, Street Parade Brass, Cajun, Zydeco, Funk, & more!
Emma's Revolution (virtual)
"Fervent and heartfelt" ~ The New York Times
Known for fearless, truth-telling lyrics and melodies you can't resist singing, Emma's Revolution is the dynamic, award-winning activist duo of Pat Humphries & Sandy O. The duo are in their 20th year performing together. Emma's Revolution's songs have traveled around the world and have been sung for the Dalai Lama, praised by Pete Seeger and covered by Holly Near.
Amy K Bormet w/ Kim Bursic (virtual)
Amy K Bormet is a pianist, vocalist, and composer, known for her fearless free-wheeling style and dedication to creating new music. To collaborate with and celebrate women musicians, she started the annual Washington Women in Jazz Festival in 2011, directing, financing, and performing in an annual festival and women-focused events throughout the year in the DC area.
Kim Bursic has been a visual artist for over 20 years. Currently living in Washington DC, she has lived in and been inspired by the East Coast cities and locations in the Pacific Northwest. Working in printmaking, book arts, collage, and watercolor; her artwork employs a multitude of layers to depict a "landscape" both real and imagined. She has been invited to exhibit in several solo and group shows, received awards in local art shows, and has participated in over 20 group shows locally and nationally.

Handbuilding Workshop (FULL)

This workshop is designed for all skill levels! You'll be introduced to techniques such as pinch pots and joining slabs as you work towards creating your very own set of windchimes. All clay and tools will be provided!
Tie-Dye Workshop (FULL)

Time to get colorful with Erin Cassell for our 10th year anniversary! Join our community event and learn about different tie-dye techniques & design your very own t-shirt and bandana. All supplies will be provided!
Paint & Sip Workshop (FULL)

If you love geometric shapes, bold colors, and abstraction, this workshop is PERFECT for you! Our very own Senior Director of Programs, Manique Buckmon, will be leading the workshop. Drawing inspiration from Nigerian Artist Odili Donald Odita's work, we'll dive into explorations of composition, color choices, and of course how to embrace and lean into your own creative style. All materials will be provided!
