Photos and decorations on the tree show activities undertaken Covid safely at Hidden Valley this year. Virtual Day Camp was a great success! Work days were a win with masks, cleaning supplies, six-ft distancing, and many troops and volunteers. Goats came to chomp on invasive honeysuckle and the wildlife was enjoyed by all - outside and Covid safe.

This tree is hand-crafted by a classroom of children between ages three and six years old. The decorations are designed with Montessori concepts in mind. The "works" of the students coexist on the tree as they exist in the classroom: independently and in partnership and collaboration with each other. The tree is topped with a special guardian and guide, a Maria Montessori figurine.

A forest of whimsical holiday trees honors all of the beautiful trees made by Lawrence volunteers over the years. The colorful 50" x 70" quilt would be perfect for snuggling on the couch or as a wall hanging to decorate your home.
The blocks were made by Karla Menaugh, with quilt assembly help from a group of sewing friends - Georgann Eglinski, Linda Frost, Barbara Brackman, Cathy Dwigans, Roseanne Smith, Kathy Suprenant, Deb Rowden and Sue Ashline. Thanks to Lori Kukuk for the machine quilting. The quilt was made from a pattern by Sandy Gervais.
With its traditional rich red and classic white fabrics done in the Hunters Star pattern, this beautiful quilt will add a festive cheer to any room, any time of the year. Quilt size is 48" x 60"
