Originally from Sydney, James arrived at Frameline with over 10 years' experience working at Australia's largest film festivals. This means he's watched way too many festival films - hundreds every year for a decade - and can recommend you some really good ones. Bring a notepad.

He was with Sydney Film Festival for 10 years, a time of huge growth for the organization, and left there as Head of Marketing and Customer Relations. He also was Festival Manager for 4 years of the Mardi Gras Film Festival, one of the top 10 largest LGBTQ+ film festivals in the world.
