Counseling Sessions
Fund two one-on-one counseling sessions with a licensed therapist for a patient or caregiver. Counselors at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health are specially trained in the management of both the physical and emotional strains of disease; specifically, of brain disorders. Individual, couples and family counseling can address common concerns such as sadness or depression, relationship challenges, adjustment to the diagnosis, caregiving needs, anxiety about the future and grief.
Support Group Sessions
Help improve the isolating journey of brain disease by providing a patient or caregiver with five support group sessions. Support groups enhance coping skills and reduce isolation for patients and families living with memory and movement disorders, both of which are ever more important during these trying times. Thanks to the dedicated team at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, support groups are now taking place online in light of social distancing measures.
Music Therapy Sessions & Materials
Provide one year of Music Therapy and materials for three individuals to experience one of our most popular patient-caregiver programs, which is now virtual! Nothing evokes memories the way music does - a familiar tune can transport us back decades and revive past joys.
